Senior Contracts Manager

Tanya Nichols serves as ODGS’s Senior Grants Manager and brings 25 years of expertise in federal grant administration, compliance, regulation training and development, and pre- and post-award management including budget development and administration. She has an advanced understanding of 2 CFR 200, organizational strategies, financial management, procurement and contracting.

Tanya has experience with grants funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Department of Transportation, CalSTA, California Energy Commission (CEC), and California Air Districts. She spearheaded the end-to-end process, from crafting proposals to executing funded projects. She ensured compliance, monitored progress, and engaged stakeholders effectively. She holds a Master of Science in Management and Human Resources and Bachelor of Science in Management and Accounting from the University of Maryland. Tanya is a member of the National Grants Management Association and a Certified Grants Management Specialist (CGMS).  She is certified by the Community Transportation Association of America as a Certified Transit Programs Administrator (CTPA) and an Approved Trainer of the Grant Professionals Association (GPA).
